I promise it will still be cool when we roll it back out again :). I’m really sorry that happened. I know it sucks to see something new and useful and to have to roll it back :(.
Are there any updates on the API for Ticket Timers?
Currently (as per documented) you can get all ticket timers, ticket timers before or after a date.
If would be useful if we could query if there are ticket timers with no “end time” (ie/ active or paused) ie/
“start_time”: “2024-03-20T09:24:16.961+08:00”,
“end_time”: null,
Thanks.
No plans to update that at the moment.
I just checked my Admin > Tickets > Preferences and I don’t have this option to toggle “Enabled Detailed Time Entry For Ticket Comments” checkbox.
It was rolled back due to an issue and being corrected on our end. More details here:

Ditto on the ability to have both methods enabled. I was stoked when I saw this go live, until I realized it has to be one or the other.
Any update here on rolling out the new feature again?
Let me go find out. Give me a bit.
They are working on it but no eta. My guess is 2 weeks or so.
Any updates about this " Detailed Time Entry For Ticket Comments" when it will be rolled out again?
It’s still being worked on. I don’t have an ETA currently.
Hi Andy. Any news on this by any chance?
So I just checked with the Product folks and I was told they expect it to be sometime within the next two weeks. Can’t guarantee that time frame, but that is what they are looking at currently.
Hey Abe, this was released today!
Hi @Andy any update here?
Oh wow! So we just need to turn on “Enable Detailed Time Entry For Ticket Comments” in admin settings?
Yep, and that will turn it on globally for all your techs.
I see it takes away the option to just put in time (old way). Wasn’t there supposed to be both options (like other PSAs have)?
Hey Abe, as of today it’s globally defined as one option or the other.
Any plans to add the option of having both?
