Would be nice if we could change the status of a ticket to Proposed Resolved. Then syncro would automatically include a “Confirm Close” button for the client to hit from within the ticket. Once the client hits the button, Syncro closes the ticket. We could also put a timetable to the Proposed Resolve Status (4 days?) and it would auto-close. The big difference is the client would get to close the ticket themselves without the tech interaction.

Great idea. I was thinking of exactly the same thing and trying to figure out how.

We made a status called Pending Close. There is an automation that will send an email to the client that it’s Pending Close and will Close automatically in 24 hours if no action is taken. If there are still issues to respond and the ticket will remain open.
If nothing hits the ticket for 24 hrs it is marked resolved.
We had to do this because Syncro doesn’t allow you to close it from a link, or do a poll, etc.
It would be a nice option though.
