Two New QOL Features Are Live!

That’s where we track them, so please keep them focused to that forum.

I thought we were getting this as a QOL feature but alas no. Please Please Please add this.

The Contact/client appearing in the Ticket tab is really helpful.

I have several clients who have Scott as a staff member. So I could end up with three tickets open and they all read Ticket XXXX | Scott

I think the Ticket naming logic should look like this:
Client name if no contact assigned
First name of Contact and initials of Client eg Ticket XXXX | Scott (BH)

EDIT: Copied to Feature Request: All Window Titles should be fixed to have useful context like ticket detail has been - Feature Requests - Syncro Support Community (syncromsp.com)

There’s a lots of quick wins, with Window Titles that could really improve usability alongside the realy useful ticket one.

Currently all type of window for List, Edit, and New windows for type FooWidget (where FooWidget is eg Ticket, Asset, Policy, Script, etc) all just have window title “FooWidgets”. See screenshot below, where there is a window each for Search, Edit, New, etc.

Instead all across the whole system, should have titles showing their action:

  • “FooWidgets | Search | ” - as the other person mentioned
  • “FooWidget | <name, like contact name for tickets>”
  • “FooWidget | New”
  • and then for a ticket once selected customer “Ticket | New | ”
