Keeping Restore button without enabling Rich Text

Recently my ‘Restore’ button disappeared. Causing me to lose information when refreshing the page. Support told me to enable Rich text. So we did. Now our tickets are unevenly spaced. Copying / pasting causes different fonts to show up. We have never had to enable Rich Text and I have always been able to have the Restore button. Now I am told, the Restore function is tied into the Rich Text Build… Help?
