You are putting your eggs for running your business and interacting with your users, on a forum (Facebook) in this case, that you have no control over. This will fail, because I guarantee you that FB/Meta WILL break it and really throw you into a tailspin. Bad idea sir. Very bad. You never give up control like that if you want success. You BUILD your solution. In my case?? I would rebuild this site, into a Joomla or Wordpress site, (I prefer Joomla by FAR as it is a real CMS and secure) and install Kunena Forum to these exact specifications…and then some. But what do I know?
By using an external site like that, you are also committing a web design faux paux - you will be relinquishing your branding to Meta, and now you will also be subjecting us to be FORCED into allowing big tech (Facebook and Google) to start pummeling us with TRACKING, ADS and other garbage we smarter folks who know how this all really works…want no part of.

Sloppy sloppy sloppy! I do NOT approve and it shows me Syncro’s true lack of web and brand development acumen. Other users here NAILED it sir. FB is a proven B2B failure. ESPECIALLY with regard to it’s algorithms that are designed only to make it money, by limiting your posts.

it would make sense to call them but there are a lot of scenarios people are not allowed to have their phones at work (I work in education and teachers are not supposed to use their phones in class) also I don’t like to give up my personal phone to all the people I help remotely cause then they can bug me after business hours.
Then give your business number? If you use something like ScreenConnect, you could then do audio directly to the assets.
Got it, I can say for certain this is not a feature we’d be doing. It’s too niche a circumstance. I think your next best bet might be using the live chat option if phones are off the table in this particular circumstance.
I will provide some additional context because you are making some very inaccurate assumptions.
Our Facebook group has always been one of the more active MSP communities in general since our inception, and it now houses over 3,000 Syncro customers. We opened these community forums, and actually left Facebook maybe 12-18 months ago. Our customers said loud and clear, NO, and continued participating in that community instead ever since.
We keep this community here for folks that want an alternative path to the Facebook group, and it sees a fair amount of engagement, but no where near the engagement we see over there. After months and months of fielding requests for Syncro to return to active participation in the Facebook group, we did so.
The end result is we needed to meet our customers where they are, not the other way around. So that is what we’re doing, and that is what we will continue to do. As you can see, we participate here, we participate there, we participate in our subreddit, so on and so forth.
There is nothing wrong with not wanting to participate in our Facebook community. That’s specifically why we have these forums, and we continue to encourage folks to submit their feature requests in the Feature Request category inside of these Community Forums. Our Product teams monitors that category regularly.
For this specific program, however, it will continue to live in our Facebook community. We just finished up our first open submissions post there and it was a tremendous success. I’m sorry to see you won’t be participating in these events.

Maaaannnnn, I’m in the no thansk fb group personally… But I didn’t know it was active over there so now I have FOMO . Guess I’ll have to hop over there from time to time… But this platform is far more functional for both us the client and you the vender of software tools… Weiiiiird people are more active on cruddy facebook lol. To each their own yes, and we do need to meet the people where they are… Good stuff, thanks for the intel Andy.

and have to navigate through reception, ask to speak to the person of interest, wait for reception to see if they are available, get put through, the person of interest then cannot receive any business calls because they are on the phone to the tech.
That is why talking through the speakers and mic is a good idea that shouldn’t be dismissed as niche.

Why can’t you use Canny.io to manage customer feedback? Its specifically built for this exact task of eliciting customer feedback and showing where your company is with those requests, and works well at so many other companies.
We use our Community Forums here for feedback. This program specifically is just another way for our partners to engage with us directly.
The primary source of submitting feature requests remains our Feature Request category here in these Community Forums.
Agree, I deleted my FB account like 6 years ago because it’s just a societal cancer.
I want to be apart of this but I’m not doing it on social media.

This program will only be taking place on our Facebook community, however, our product team regularly monitors the Feature Request category here in our Community Forums, and remains the primary source of logging feature requests. So if you have some good requests in the queue, please add them individually here in these forums!
