We’re officially launching the Syncro Script Community Contest :tada:

If you’ve ever written a script that made you think *“wow, I just saved future-me hours”, this is your moment.

1. Syncro Staff Pick

  • Chosen by @daniel.hedges , Sr Sales Engineer
  • Criteria: usefulness, creativity, polish/readability, and real MSP impact. See Submission Rules below for more details.

2. Community Pick

  • Chosen by YOU! the script that gets the most love from the community wins.

:memo: Submission Rules

  • Must be a working script

  • In your submission, please include:

    • What the script does

    • When/why an MSP would use it

  • Must include at least ONE Syncro Module Command:

    • Rmm-Alert
    • Display-Alert
    • Log-Activity
    • Get-ScreenCapture
    • Send-Email
    • Upload-File
    • Set-Asset-Field
    • Create-Syncro-Ticket
    • Create-Syncro-Ticket-Comment
    • Create-Syncro-Ticket-TimerEntry
    • Update-Syncro-Ticket
    • Close-Rmm-Alert
    • Broadcast-Message

  • Unlimited submissions

  • Must be original or clearly credited

  • Files are not allowed

  • Must follow guidelines of current community library

  • Participants can’t resubmit an already existing community script, but you can submit a beefed up version of an existing script, bonus points if the updated script uses the Syncro Module Commands

  • Does not replicate already existing Syncro RMM Agent Functionality

Submissions will close on February 20th, 2026 at 11:59PM PT.

Voting will start Monday February 23rd at 9AM PT and close Friday February 27 at 11:59PM PT.

Winners will be announced the following week in the community.

  1. Submit your entry to the Community Script Contest Category
  2. Follow the naming convention: [Submission] Title of your script/project
  3. Double check that you’ve included all the required information.

:locked: Important Note on Security & Quality

To ensure a safe and reliable sharing environment for all partners, all submissions will be held for a brief period (roughly 24 hours) to allow time for a moderator to review.

This quick due diligence step allows us to check code for quality and security before they go live for the entire community. We appreciate your patience as we make sure everything is safe for sharing!

  • And of course, bragging rights :wink:

  • 5 individuals (chosen at random) that submit a script will get a Syncro swag item. Although submissions are unlimited, you’re granted only one prize draw entry per person.
  • A participation badge added to your profile!
