This was checked for us automatically on 11/2. We did not enable it, it was enabled automatically. I’m running out of ways to reiterate that.
I realize I can now turn it off, but that does not change the fact that it was turned ON automatically for us. It may well be true that it was turned ON because we had it On for users, but that doesn’t change that we had no way of knowing it would get turned on automatically.
As I mentioned, it was turned on (and preannouncements went out via multiple sources like email, in-app, etc.) if you had any IP addresses present, which you had mentioned that you did. The pre-announcements had steps required to ensure global admins took the necessary steps to ensure they didn’t get inadvertently locked out.
If you didn’t see any emails come through, I’d reach out to support to ensure they have the right email address on file.
Any idea DNS names will be supported? Would help if you do not have a static IP.
I don’t think that’s something we’re planning on adding. Are you not able to get a static IP at your office?
