Does this inconsistency bother anyone else? I find I almost remote into PCs accidentally from time to time and have narrowed down the problem to these icons being in different orders.

had not bothered me as I had not noticed but now… yeah that’s annoying.
Remote then Backgrounding on the device itself. Would be good to be consistent.
Good catch Jeremy, that’s poor UI design/ standardization.

I hadn’t realised it. But I do know that every time I go to use those icons in search-all-the-things it takes me a good 20-30 seconds before I can work out which one I want to click. So, likely due to that inconsistency.
I keep suggesting that they should hire a student one summer (off a UI-focused software’s dev course) to work through UI inconsistencies.
