  • For Integration, Feature Request, or Bug Report Support: Partners can submit a Ticket with Comet directly via the Comet Backup portal.

Migrating Billing to Syncro

Partners who wish to migrate their billing from being directly billed by Comet to being billed through Syncro can do so by submitting a Ticket with Comet. Inform Comet that you want to move billing to Syncro, and Comet will process the migration.

How Billing Works

Understanding the billing process is crucial for managing your expenses with Comet Backup effectively. Here are the key points to note:

  • Subscription Billing: If you purchase Comet through Syncro, it will be included as part of your monthly Syncro subscription. This means that all charges associated with Comet Backup will appear on your regular Syncro invoice.
  • Wasabi Storage Billing: For Partners utilizing Wasabi storage through Comet, please note that you will be billed for a minimum of 1TB of storage, even if your actual usage is less than 1TB. This is important to consider when estimating your storage needs and associated costs.
  • Billing Based on Compressed File Size: Comet Backup bills based on the compressed size of your files, not the total file size. This can often result in lower billing amounts compared to what you might see in the Comet dashboard, depending on the page you’re viewing. This compression-based billing can be a cost-effective feature, especially for data-intensive backups.
