Ticket logs have "Empty" message for each reply sent via email

Dear All,

If someone could explain and/or support can resolve this issue. When client replies via an email, the original message comes through but another empty message comes as well for each email reply. The empty message just has the following body

Update Subject: Contact

Message:

"

(empty)

"

I am also getting emails for these empty messages as well. If there are 3 replies I will have 6 unread messages in the inbox.
