So… A number of my clients use Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and was expecting that after the definitions got updated or I was using the latest version of Syncro that it would stop this. Installer.msi is still being flagged and no matter what I put in exclusions I can’t seem to bypass this for my clients using either Defender or Kaspersky.
I can still use Backgrounding Tools, but Splashtop isn’t working on any of them. I’m not sure if it’s related but managed Windows Updates seems to be affected as well.
I can’t be the only one that’s experienced this but I feel like I’m likely missing something important in the steps to repair this and stop it from being flagged, so any input and troubleshooting steps would be helpful from anyone else that’s experienced this.
