Getting a list of custom fields and types

Is there a way to return a list of the defined custom fields, and their types, ie text?

I’m exploring writing an integration with QuoteWerks, and I need to be able to map fields between the two systems. In order for the user to define the mapping, I need to present them with the options, and I need to know the type so I’m not trying to map fields that aren’t compatible, ie, putting text into a number.

It looks like Ticket Settings might be what you’re looking for. It lists the Custom Field Types for tickets.
