Changing the Default Ticket Issue

Is there a way to select a default Ticket Issue Type for new tickets? Everything is entered as “other” right now and we’re having to manually change it.

Hi Jordan! Under Admin > Mailboxes you can edit your Mailbox and set the default type.

There it is. I had been all up and down the “ticket” section, never thought to look under mailboxes. Thanks!

Hey Alexandra,

I’ve seen two tickets come in since I changed this that did not respect the Issue Type setting. The majority have - but I’m wondering if there’s something else that could be interfering here?

In our tenant, you could look at ticket #6746 for an example.
