I don’t understand why this scrip is failing to download the file. Any thoughts? I’m trying to replace a users registry file that keeps getting corrupted.
First off, you need to have the full path include the file name, so it should say C:\temp\3487-ntuser.dat.
2nd - On your Copy-Item line, you have > instead of . for NTUSER.DAT.
That was intentional. I want to copy the with that name stored in the cloud I want to rename it when it is copied locally. Do I have to copy it down first and then rename it?
I get what you are saying now. It seems kind of redundant to have it in both places but I get it now. I whish I had seen some better examples. Thanks!
