Can we give access to broadcast messages to our clients?


It’s awesome that we can broadcast messages to assets. can we give access to a client? (A manager level client) That way, he can also broadcast messages on our behalf at the best time for his employees


No. If you are in a co-managed IT scenario you can get a Syncro user license for someone on their staff and scope it to their assets/records only. Otherwise, it’s not available to a customer portal user.

I haven’t messed with this, so there may be a gotcha somewhere, but IIRC you can make certain scripts available from the portal and scripts can make broadcast messages. So that might work for you. I don’t know if it lets you specify script values or which machines to run on or not, so you might only be able to have multiple scripts with stock messages they could send.
