Block Chrome PW manager

I know I’ve seen it, but I can’t find reference to it. I found the registry settings to disable Chrome’s pw manager, but that doesn’t stop a user that knows anything from enabling it again. I thought there was another way.

I can’t use GPO directly, as this client is currently a mix of AzureAD/Workgroup (it’s a process), but am happy to look at Azure’s option if it fits with their licensing.

Your user shouldn’t be able to modify the registry.

On an aside, look into Microsoft’s LGPO (Local Group Policy). If you load the Chrome admx files and set group policy, you can back it up using LGPO and deploy it through Syncro.

Been so long since I looked that I hadn’t thought the manager would be global not user based. Good call.
